Angelina Probst

Angelina Probst (born June 2, 1986 in New Delhi ) is a German painter and designer. She has lived and worked in Berlin since 2007 .

Angelina Probst was born in New Delhi, India, the 8th of 11 children of German parents. She grew u. a. in India, Russia and the USA . Her mother tongue is English. She is self-taught . In addition, she attended a state school for graphic design in Karlsruhe from 2003–2006 .

The artist likes to paint brightly colored pictures, erotic and lascivious poses, elements of the 30s / 60s & surreal dream worlds. Classifying your art into a particular genre is difficult - pop art, modern art, erotic art - everything is included. Often all or more of these elements are mixed up. This creates large areas, but also extremely detailed sections.

Each work is created in a free, dynamic creative process, the result is not yet known at the beginning. The artist prefers to work with acrylic on canvas.
