Dörfleins has been a district of Hallstadt in the Upper Franconian district of Bamberg since January 1, 1972 . Until 1971 there was a separate mayor and a local council . In the 2008 local elections, several citizens of Dörfleins were elected to the Hallstadt city council. Dörfleins has an elementary school and the St. Ursula kindergarten as educational institutions (as of 2007).
Dörfleins borders in the south on the city of Bamberg and in the west on the communities Oberhaid and Kemmern . The Main flows between Hallstadt and Dörfleins . The two parts of the community are connected by the Main Bridge, over which the state road runs. The Bamberg-Schweinfurt railway line runs over the eighth bridge.
The chapel of St. Ursula Dörfleins belonged to the diocese of Würzburg for a long time and later came to the archbishopric of Bamberg . The Schwarzer Adler Eichhorn brewery is located in the Dörfleins district .
The Franconian Marienweg runs through Dörfleins .
