Angerfist ( English : "Zornesfaust"; real name: Danny J. Masseling ) (born June 20, 1981 in Almere , Netherlands) is a Dutch hardcore techno musician and DJ .
Career
Masseling's career began when Mark Vos (aka DJ Buzz Fuzz ) signed him and recorded his EPs under the pseudonyms "Menace II Society" and "Angerfist". Masseling is known as a musician and DJ in the hardcore techno / gabber scene. Other pseudonyms are "Kid Morbid", "Denekamps Gespuis" and "Bloodcage".
Masseling's productions under the pseudonym Angerfist often contain vocals samples dealing with serial killers and psychopathy : Maniac Killa, Criminally Insane, Cannibal , and A Touch Of Insanity . Masseling's website includes an area called “Sicko Corner” where fans can write “gruesome” poems themselves.
In 2005 Masseling worked with Jeroen Streunding from Neophyte , Evil Activities and DJ Outblast on the track Time To Make A Stand (as "Hardcore United"). The track is the anthem of the anti-racist Hardcore United party, which took place on June 25, 2005 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. On March 25, 2006 his first Angerfist album "Pissin 'Razorbladez" was released.
In 2008 his second album "Mutilate" was released and in 2011 his third album "Retaliate". In 2014 his album "The Deadfaced Dimension" was released. Danny Masseling appears as angerfist at scene parties (such as Syndicate, Masters of Hardcore). MC Prozac often accompanies him on his live performances, always wearing masks similar to those of Jason Voorhees .
On November 28th, 2015 his fifth album "Raise & Revolt" was released, which also contains some better known tracks from previous albums, such as "Knock Knock", "Retaliate" and "Take U Back".
His sixth album "Creed Of Chaos" was released on December 2nd, 2017 via the Masters of Hardcore label. The album includes features from other well-known artists / producers such as DJ Outblast, Furyan and Tha Watcher.
On November 23, 2019 his seventh album called "Diabolic Dice" was released. What is special about this album is that it only contains 6 songs (one song for each side of the cube). Furthermore, only solo songs by Angerfist are included on this album.
