Evil Activities (born August 23, 1979 in Krimpen aan den IJssel , actually Kelly van Soest ) is a Dutch hardcore techno producer and disc jockey (DJ). He is also known in hardstyle circles under the pseudonym Max Enforcer .

Kelly van Soest lives in Rotterdam, where he met DJ Neophyte, among others, on whose label Neophyte Records he releases his records today. He was best known in the gabber scene through tracks such as “Be Quiet” (written and arranged together with DJ Panic), “Before Your Eyes” (together with Endymion) or “Alles Kapot (10 Jaar Later Lekkur Dan ...) “(By DJ Neophyte). Characteristic of the music of Evil Activities are more or less happy melodies, with often hands-up-like tones. Compare: Mainstyle and sampled vocals. For example, his track “State Of Emergency” (together with Chaosphere) contains a vocal sample from Björk 's “Joga” (likewise his track “No Place To Hide” also contains a sample from Björk's “Hidden Place”) or is “One Of These” Days "(together with Neophyte) a remake of the song" Break Stuff "by Limp Bizkit . The track “Nobody said it was easy”, for example, contains a vocal sample from the group Coldplay with their singer Chris Martin .

Kelly van Soest is still a member of acts like Masters Of Ceremony (Jeroen Streunding, Jarno Butter, Danny Greten, Niels van Hoeckel and Kelly van Soest) and the anti-racist project Hardcore United (together with Angerfist , DJ Neophyte and Outblast). As Evil Activities live act van Soest is supported by Jan Kramer alias DJ Dazzler and Niels van der Hau.

What is special about his first album Dedicated (2003) is that it consists of two CDs . The first CD contains the newer tracks (“New Shit”), the second CD (“Old Shit”) contains older tracks and a live performance in the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen .

With hardstyle producers like The Beholder (Jeroen Streunding from Neophyte ) and Balistic (DJ Panic) he already produced the Decibel Anthem and a remix of the track Stampuuh by The Prophet and Deepack under his pseudonym “Max Enforcer” .
