Angela Beth Woznuk Kerr , called Angie , (* 29. March 1985 in San Diego , California as Angela Beth Woznuk ) is a former American football player .

Career

society

From 2009 to 2011 Kerr played a season for the WPS - Franchises Saint Louis Athletica , Atlanta Beat and Sky Blue FC . At the beginning of 2013, she was signed in the second round of the so-called Supplemental Draft at position 16 by the NWSL franchise of Portland Thorns FC . Kerr made her league debut there on April 13, 2013 against FC Kansas City . After two years in Portland, culminating in winning the 2013 NWSL Championship, she retired in October 2014.

National team

Kerr played for various US youth national teams, with the U-19 she took part in the 2002 and 2004 World Championships . In 2005 she was appointed to the squad of the US national team for the first time and played there ten games by 2009.
