The Angitis (Greek: Αγγίτης), also called Aggitis, Angista or Dramatitsa, is a river in northern Greece. The river is 75 km long and is an important tributary of the Strymonas .
Its source is in the Falakro massif near Prosotsani in the Drama regional district . It flows south to Fotolivos, from there further west to the Serres regional district and flows into the Strymonas near Tragilos.
Angitis Gorge and Alistratis Cave
The Angitis Gorge and the Alistrati Cave are located near the town of Alistrati in the "Petroto" area.
The railway line between Serres and Drama runs right next to the cave and gorge.
