Angus McLaren (born November 3, 1988 in Leongatha , Victoria ) is an Australian actor who grew up on a dairy farm. He became known through the television series Silversun and H₂O - Suddenly Mermaid . He has also appeared in the shows Neighbors , Something in the Air and Blue Heelers .

Life

After amateur productions at the Leongatha Lyric Theater and theater projects at his school, at the age of twelve he got a recurring role in the ABC series Something in the Air . Other television appearances followed, including the children's series Worst Best Friends , in The Saddle Club and Fergus McPhail , in Blue Heelers and Comedy Inc .

From 2002 to 2003 he played the role of Grundy in the family series Neighbors . McLaren got his first leading role in 2004 in the children's series Silversun . He made his feature film debut in 2005 in the low-budget film Court of Lonely Royals . 2006 followed the role as Lewis in H₂O - Suddenly Mermaid . From 2008 to 2013 he acted in the television series The Chaos Family as Nathan .

In addition to his work, McLaren enjoys playing sports ( cricket , swimming and AFL football). He is also a singer and plays guitar and drums. He is the drummer of the band "Rapids" (previously "Ballet Imperial").
