Anguteeraq Davidsen

Anguteeraq Magnus Mikael Lars Davidsen [ aŋuˈtˢɜːʁɑq ˈmau̯nus ˈmikæːl lɑːs ˈdæːviðsn̩ ] (according to the old spelling Angutêraĸ ; born March 17, 1931 in Saqqaq ; † 21st century ) was a Greenlandic politician ( Atassut ).

Anguteeraq Davidsen was harbor master in Sisimiut , where he was chairman of the local council in the 1960s. In 1971 and 1975 he was the second representative of Jørgen CF Olsen in Grønlands Landsråd . From 1975 to 1979 he was deputy chairman of the council of the municipality of Sisimiut . In 1979 he stood up as a candidate for the first Inatsisartut and was elected. After being re-elected in 1983, he ran unsuccessfully in 1984 and 1987. On June 21, 1989 he received the Nersornaat in silver and on June 21, 2000 the same in gold. The Anguteeqqap Aqqutaa in Sisimiut is named after him. He died before 2012.

Anguteeraq Davidsen was the son of the hunter Peter Ammon Gideon Davidsen and his wife Martha Amalia Marie.
