Anita Düvel

Anita Düvel , occasionally also Anita Düvell and Anita Düwell (born December 20, 1907 in Otterndorf near Cuxhaven , Germany , † after 1959) was a German actress in theater and film.

Live and act

Anita Düvel attended the Lyceum and then trained at an acting school. Since 1934 the artist has worked at Berlin venues such as the Unter den Linden theater, the small comedy and the Volkstheater. At the same time, Anita Düvel began filming intensively. In just six years she was seen in two dozen films. There she mostly took on supporting roles and had top stars like Käthe Gold , Brigitte Helm , Harry Piel , Willy Fritsch , Heinrich George , Lil Dagover and Hans Moser as partners.

In 1940 Anita Düvel ended her film career abruptly and did not take it up after 1945 either. Instead, she returned to the theater and worked at the Münchner Staatsschauspiel until 1943 under the direction of Alexander Gollings . Anita Düvel, married von Lang-Puchhof, stayed in the Bavarian capital even after the war. She lived at least until 1959, the time of her death is currently unknown.
