Arno Hassenpflug (born March 2, 1907 in Oberhausen , Germany ; † May 6, 1954 in Wiesbaden ) was a German stage and film actor .

Live and act

Hassenpflug had received an acting education in the late 1920s and then made his debut at the municipal theater in Essen . From 1932 to 1934 he was engaged at the city ​​theater of Osnabrück , since 1935 Hassenpflug belonged to the ensemble of the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden . Here he was initially employed in the role of the youthful hero and lover. He played in both classic and modern plays, in the Zuckmayer drama Des Teufels General as well as in an Ambesser comedy.

In the late phase of his artistic career, Hassenpflug also appeared three times in front of film cameras in small roles. In the short documentary film Alte Liebe zu Frankfurt am Main and his spa garden Bad Homburg , the man from Oberhausen also appeared as one of three voiceovers. Arno Hassenpflug died at the age of 47 as a result of cardiac thrombosis .
