She was used as a co-commentator at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. The performance was informative, but ended without many words. After the Swiss Gian Simmen had made a "gala appearance", she was no longer able to say anything because of happiness. She herself came in 11th at the Olympic Games in Nagano. There, too, she did not hold back with her opinion. After criticizing the snowboarders, she said "It is not fair that everyone is picking on us snowboarders now. We also have each other not torn about Olympia, but Olympia wanted us. "

She developed and styled snowboards for women with the Nidecker company .

Schwaller is also involved in social areas, e.g. B. for an apprenticeship campaign by the Swiss Confederation.

She was awarded the Freiburg Sports Prize in 1997. The individual sports prize rewards an athlete from Freiburg or living in the canton of Friborg.
