The building at Ankerstraße 10 is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located on the south side of Ankerstrasse in Magdeburg's Neue Neustadt district .

Architecture and history

The large five-story house was built around 1880/1890. The eight-axis facade of the brick building is designed in the neo-renaissance style. There is a bossing on the ground floor . The window openings on the upper floors are crowned with segmental arches or triangular gables.

The house is characteristic of the street scene and a typical example of an apartment building from the Wilhelminian era in a big city.

The building is listed as a residential building under registration number 094 82206 in the local monument register.
