Ann Jansson (* 1957 ) is a former Swedish soccer player .
Career
society
Jansson ran at the latest from 1973 on for the Swedish club Hammarby IF and remained loyal to this throughout her career. From 1981 to 1983 she reached the final of the Swedish Football Cup three times in a row with Hammarby , but lost each of these finals. Due to her early retirement in 1984 Jansson also missed the Swedish championship title , which Hammarby was able to win for the first time in 1985.
National team
Jansson was part of the Swedish national team in their first official international match on July 26, 1974 in Mariehamn against Finland as part of the 1974 Women's Nordic Football Championship . In this game, after being substituted on, she scored the goal to make it 1-0 shortly before the end of the game. In the following years Jansson took part with Sweden, among other things, in the Nordic football championships in 1975 and 1976 , in which she was the most successful Swedish goalscorer with two goals each. In 1984 she won the women's European football championship, which was held for the first time that year, with Sweden and was used in three of four games during the final round. After winning the title, Jansson ended her active career and later worked as a school principal in Stockholm .
