Anna-Celina Schmid (born May 15, 1997 in Stuttgart ) is a German soccer player who plays for VfL Sindelfingen in the women's Bundesliga .

Career

Schmid started her career in the summer of 2003 with the SV Rot Bambini in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen . Two years in Zuffenhausen followed before she joined SC Stammheim in May 2005. She played in Oferdingen in the E and D youth teams before joining the D youth team at VfL Sindelfingen in the summer of 2009. Due to injury concerns, she moved up to the VfL Bundesliga squad at the age of 16 in spring 2014 and celebrated her women's Bundesliga debut against MSV Duisburg on February 23, 2014 .

Swimming career

In addition to her active football career, she is a competitive swimmer for SSV Zuffenhausen and is currently part of the U-17 squad of the German Swimming Association .

Personal

Schmid has a great passion for music and has his own channel on YouTube . In addition to her singing career, she plays the piano and guitar.
