AnnaGrace is a Belgian vocal trance formation. It consists of the singer Annemie Anna Francine Coenen (born July 14, 1978 in Herk-de-Stad , Belgium) and the producer Peter Luts (born December 14, 1971). It emerged from the dance formation Ian Van Dahl , which broke up in spring 2008.
history
After the former co-producer of Ian Van Dahl , David Vervoort (alias Dave McCullen ), announced that he would not participate in the follow-up project, only Annemie Coenen and Peter Luts formed AnnaGrace . After about six months of work on the new project, the first single You Make Me Feel was finally released on June 23, 2008 in Belgium , which shortly after made it to number 1 on the dance charts. The single was also very successful in international dance chart ratings, so it reached first place in the US on the Billboard Dance Airplay Charts .
In an April 2007 interview, Coenen noted that most of the songs on a new Ian Van Dahl album came from her and Lut's pen, but the release was postponed beyond the group's breakup. Ultimately, the new album will only be released in June 2010 under the band name AnnaGrace . Another pre-single is Let The Feelings Go . Contrary to all expectations, the new single rose within a few weeks after it debuted at number 36 in the Flemish Ultratop singles chart, up to the top 5 at home. In the Netherlands, too, AnnaGrace achieved a small success with Let The Feelings Go . There the single reached number 26. Like You Make Me Feel , Let The Feelings Go became a great success in the dance charts and reached number 1 in Belgium.
At the end of 2009, the new single Love Keeps Calling was released . While the great successes were again rather limited to the dance charts, the single reached at least number 23 in Flanders and number 29 in the Netherlands. In May 2010, AnnaGrace announced the release of the debut album Ready To Dare for the following month. June 21 was chosen as the final release date. Another single, Celebration , has already been released in advance .
