Anna Aaron (born January 29, 1985 in Basel ; real name Cécile Meyer ) is a Swiss singer-songwriter and pianist . Virus described their music as " folk , which ranges from melodic and dark to dramatic".

Live and act

Anna Aaron grew up in England, Asia and New Zealand. She studied German and philosophy and began her musical career in a band. In 2009 she released her debut as a solo artist on the Lausanne label Two Gentlemen with the EP I'll Dry Your Tears Little Murderer , which she recorded together with musician friends. In February 2011 the single King Of The Dogs followed , with airplay on DRS 3, among others . Her debut album, produced by Marcello Giuliani and released in August 2011, is titled Dogs in Spirit .

In 2009 and 2010 Anna Aaron was nominated for the Basler Pop-Preis of the RFV Basel, in 2011 she finally won it. Also in 2010 she received the main sponsorship award of the “RegioSoundCredits”.
