Anna Afanassjewna Morozova
Anna Afanassjewna Morosowa ( Russian Анна Афанасьевна Морозова ; born May 23, 1921 in Kaluga Governorate , Soviet Russia ; † December 31, 1944 ) was a Soviet resistance fighter in World War II . She became known for a series of bomb attacks she organized on German fighter planes, which inexplicably exploded in the air during the Kursk battle and later.
activity
She worked as a washerwoman on the airfield in Seschtscha and was in contact with the partisan group under Fyodor Danchenkov. At the airfield, she recruited four Polish forced laborers who loaded the planes with bombs. She brought the magnetic mines with her laundry to the square, a little boy, Vanya Aldjuchow, who was doing emergency services on the airfield with his little pony cart , brought them in his water jug to the Poles, who mounted them on the bombs. In his memoirs, Hans-Ulrich Rudel reports on the explosions and that sabotage was suspected.
reception
After the war, the fighter pilot Walter Lehweß-Litzmann happened to read the partisan Anna Morosowa in the magazine “Aerosport” under the heading “Stuka exploded” and immediately found the explanation for the inexplicable explosion of his Ju 88 on September 7, 1943. He was in his armored seat, which must have saved his life, was thrown from the plane, landed with a parachute and taken prisoner by the Soviets.
The source for the article was the book "We direct fire on us" by Owidi Gorchakov, who was then working in the staff of the partisan group. Thereupon Lehwess-Litzmann contacted Gorchakov. In August 1979 Lehweß-Litzmann was invited to the Soviet Union by the partisan commander Fyodor Danchenkov, and she was accompanied by a film team, which resulted in the documentary “Mine 22”. The partisan's diary for September 7th said: "Mine No. 22, Junkers 88, Lehweß-Litzmann, Geschwaderkommodore". This film was broadcast on Soviet television on the eve of Victory Day , on May 8, 1980, and four months later under the title "Flaktreffer - I get out" in the GDR .
