Anna Anatoljewna Matijenko ( Russian Анна Анатольевна Матиенко , English transcription: Anna Anatolyevna Matienko ; born July 12, 1981 in Prochladny as Anna Anatoljewna Levtschenko ) is a Russian volleyball player .

Matiyenko began her career in the sports school in her hometown. From 1998 to 2000 she played in Lipetsk and then moved to VK Saretschje Odintsowo . With the club, the setter won the Russian Cup five times from 2002 to 2004 as well as in 2006 and 2007. In 2006 she was also runner-up and in 2008 she finally won the league title. After this success she moved to league rivals VK Dynamo Moscow . In 2009 Matiyenko made the double of the cup and championship with Moscow. The next season Dynamo was runner-up. In 2011 the club won the cup, but had to be content with second place in the league again. In the same year Matiyenko made his debut in the Russian national team . In 2012 Moscow was runner-up for the third time in a row. The setter took part in the Olympic Games in London and finished fifth with Russia, which was eliminated in the quarter-finals. After the tournament she moved to Severstal Tscherepowez . In 2013 Matijenko became European champion with the national team in Germany and Switzerland and then moved to VK Dynamo Krasnodar .
