VK Dynamo Krasnodar is a Russian volleyball club from Krasnodar that was founded in 1946. The men have been playing in the Russian super league since 2010 and the women since 2009.

Volleyball men

The men have been playing in the Russian super league since 2010 and were fourth in 2011 and sixth in 2012. In 2011/12 they reached the round of 16 in the European Challenge Cup with the support of the German national player Simon Tischer .

Volleyball women

The women won the Russian Cup in 1994. After a few years in lower leagues, they have been playing in the super league again since 2009, where they finished third in the first two seasons in 2010 and 2011. In 2011 they also reached the final of the European CEV Cup , in which there were two defeats against Robur Tiboni Urbino from Italy. In 2012, the women finished fifth in the championship and were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the CEV Cup against Constanța from Romania. The Dutchman Avital Selinger is the new coach for the 2012/13 season .
