history
The club was founded in 1928 and rose to the top division for the first time four years after the founding of Israel. Hapoel won its first title in 1975 by winning the Israeli Cup . This success could be repeated in 1980. In the 1981/82 season, Kfar Saba won the Israeli championship for the first and so far only time. The master coach was Dror Kashtan , who later became the most successful Israeli football coach at other clubs and now coaches the Israeli national team. The club, on the other hand, experienced a rather eventful history with various promotions and relegations, in addition to winning another cup in 1990. From 2005 to 2008 and again since 2015, Hapoel Kfar Saba has played in the first division .
