Hapoel Hadera is an Israeli football club from Hadera , currently in the Ligat ha'Al plays the highest league in Israeli football . The club currently plays its home games at the Netanya Stadium .
history
Club football has been practiced in Hadera since 1930. The clubs there played for decades from the 2nd and 3rd league to the lower divisions . In 2006, all football clubs from Hadera merged to form today's club called Hapoel Hadera. In the following season, the new club managed to win the championship and advance to the Alef League , the third-highest division in Israel .
In the 2009/10 season, Hapoel Hadera played as an almost constant leader of the league for a long time for promotion to the Leumit league , but failed at the end of the season by slipping to 3rd place. Between 2011 and 2016, the club was mainly in the midfield. In 2017 they finally became champions and were promoted to the 2nd division. The following season they finished as runner-up, with which Hapoel Hadera achieved the first class by marching through from the 3rd division . In 2019 they made it to the semi-finals of the Israeli Cup . .
