Anna Daučíková
Anna Daučíková (born August 18, 1950 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak painter , photographer and performance artist .
life and work
After completing her studies at the Bratislava Art Academy (1972–1978) Anna Daučíková moved to Moscow. She lived and worked there until 1991. In 1991 she co-founded the feminist magazine Aspect , Slovakia's first feminist magazine. Since 1999 she has held a professorship at the Bratislava Art Academy. In 2011 she moved to the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague .
In 2017 Daučíková was a participant in documenta 14 . Daučíková works in the fields of glass, structural numerical painting, photography, collage , video and sculpture. In 2018 she was awarded the Schering Foundation Art Prize.
