Anna Forster

Anna Förster (born April 13, 1979 in Sofia , Bulgaria ) is a German computer scientist and university professor .

Life

Förster studied from 1998 to 2000 at the Technical University of Sofia , then until 2004 at the Free University of Berlin with a Master of Science degree in computer science and space technology . She then worked as an IT consultant at McKinsey & Company in Berlin until 2005 . Until 2010 she did research at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano ( Switzerland ), where she did her doctorate in 2009 in the field of self-learning sensor networks . From 2010 to 2014 she worked as a researcher at the Università professionale della Svizzera italiana in Lugano. Since 2015 she has been Professor of Communication Networks at the University of Bremen .
