Anna Ibrisagic

Anna Ibrisagic (originally: Amna Ibrisagić , born May 23, 1967 in Sanski Most , Bosnia and Herzegovina , former Yugoslavia ), is a Swedish politician in the Moderaterna party and a member of the European Parliament .

Ibrisagic grew up in Bosnia and is a trained opera singer, music teacher and economist. Today she lives in Luleå in the north of Sweden . Her previous activities include piano teacher, language teacher, translator as well as export manager and managing director for the Chamber of Commerce of the Province of Norrbotten . Among other things, she translated Carl Bildt's book Uppdrag fred ( Order for Peace ) into Bosnian and Serbian .

From 2009 to 2014 she is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and of the delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo. She is a deputy in the Committee on Transport and Tourism , in the Subcommittee on Security and Defense and in the delegation in the EU-Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee.
