Anna Ogino

Anna Ogino ( Japanese 荻 野 ア ン ナ , Ogino Anna ; born November 7, 1956 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese writer.

Ogino studied at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and completed a dissertation on French Renaissance literature François Rabelais in the Keiō University , where she is employed as an assistant.

After several nominations, Ogino received the Akutagawa Prize in 1991 for Seoi mizu . In the same year he wrote the novel Buruyūgeru tonda, inspired by the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Brueghel . In the essay novel Watakushi no aidokusho (1991) Ogino dealt with the works of famous authors such as Akutagawa Ryūnosuke , Shiga Naoya , Kawabata Yasunari , Yokomitsu Riichi and Dazai Osamu . He was awarded the Itō-Sei Literature Prize in 1998. In 2001 Ogino received the Yomiuri Literature Prize for Horafuki-Anri no bōken .
