Anna Planken (born May 12, 1980 in Dortmund ) is a German television presenter .

life and career

Anna Planken graduated from high school in Dortmund in 1999. After completing her master's degree from 1999 to 2004 at the University of Cologne , majoring in geography and minor subjects in history and Scandinavian studies, she completed an internship at WDR from 2005 to 2007 . Since 2007, she hosted, among others, in the WDR television , the local time in Bonn and the lifestyle magazine is nice here , the ARD Guide: legal , substitute as the ARD television , and from February 2008 to January 2010 the Current hour on WDR television. From January 2010 to 2012 she was the permanent presenter of the ARD morning magazine . In 2012 she won the German television award with the ARD Morgenmagazin team . For the West German Broadcasting Corporation she was also the moderator of the talk about the white elderberry (2010) and the program Ratgeber Internet (2011 to 2014). In June 2012 she took over the main moderation of the business and consumer magazine Markt , which she has been presenting since February 2013 after a baby break . On December 29, 2014, after a second baby break, she again took over the moderation of the ARD morning magazine . After a third baby break, she has been moderating again since October 17, 2016.

Private

Planken is married to the sports journalist Jens Gideon, with whom she has two daughters (* 2010 and * 2016) and a son (* 2012).
