Anna Sergejewna Belaja ( Russian А́нна Серге́евна Бе́лая ; born April 15, 1987 in Lowosero , Murmansk Oblast ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Belaia has been taking part in FIS races and the Eastern Europe Cup since 2004 . She reached the 16th place in the overall ranking with two top ten placements in the 2008/09 season. This is her best overall ranking in the Eastern Europe Cup so far. At the U23 World Ski Championships in 2009 , she finished 12th in the skiathlon and 11th place over 10 km freestyle. In November 2011 she achieved her first and only podium finish in the Eastern Europe Cup with third place in the 5 km freestyle in Vershina Tjoi . She ran her first of three World Cup races so far in February 2011 in Rybinsk , which she finished in 13th place in the skiathlon and thus won her first World Cup points. In February 2013 she came in Sochi in her last World Cup with the 25th place in the skiathlon again in the points.
