Anne-Louise Lambert (born August 21, 1955 in Brisbane ; actually Anne Lambert ) is an Australian actress .

life and career

Anne-Louise Lambert appeared in Australian soap operas until 1974 , when she attracted international attention with the role of the ethereal, mysteriously disappeared beauty Miranda in Peter Weir's film Valentine's Day Picnic . She then worked in England for a few years and changed her first name to Anne-Louise to avoid confusion with another actress named Anne Lambert. In the following decades she was seen in the theater as well as in film and television productions, including 1982 in her second best-known role as Mrs. Talman in Peter Greenaway's The Draftsman's Contract . In 2004 she took part in Somersault - Like Perfume in the Air .

Anne-Louise Lambert, who has a son named Harry born in 1989, has since said goodbye to acting, with the exception of occasional trips (such as in the TV series House of Bond in 2017). Today she lives and works as a psychotherapist in Sydney . Her sister is actress and TV screenwriter Sarah Lambert, fifteen years her junior.
