Anne Schierenbeck (born December 8, 1968 in Bremen ) is a German engineer and was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Family, education and work

Schierenbeck grew up in Bremen and graduated from the Horn high school there. She then studied process engineering and production engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (Technical University) and the University of Bremen from 1988 to 1994 . In 1992 she completed a practical semester at a research station for solar energy in Almería , Spain. She completed her studies at the University of Bremen with a diploma.

She worked as a research assistant in research in Bremen: From 1994 to 1995 at the Center for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM) and from 1995 to 1999 at the Institute for Environmental Process Engineering . In 2002 she received her doctorate in the field of production engineering at the University of Bremen with a thesis on industrial wastewater treatment.

From 2001 to 2008 Schierenbeck worked for the Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland (BUND), Landesverband Bremen, as an energy consultant and head of technical environmental protection. In 2009 she founded her own engineering office in Bremen with a focus on energy efficiency consulting, energy management and climate protection projects. In 2016 she was appointed as a university professor at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences for the field of energy management. Since the summer semester of 2016 she has been teaching at the Faculty of Management, Culture and Technology on the Lingen campus .

She is married and has three sons.

Schierenbeck was initially involved in the energy working group. She became a member of the Bremen Greens in 2007 . From 2008 to 2010 she was an assessor in the state board. Since the beginning of the 18th electoral term in June 2011 she was a member of the Bremen citizenship and spokeswoman for the party's energy policy.

She was represented in the Committee for Equal Opportunities for Women (deputy member), Works Committee Performa Nord (member), Budget and Finance Committee (Land) (member), Audit Committee (Land) (member), State Deputation for Environment, Construction, Transport , Urban Development, Energy and Agriculture (member), Operations Committee Umweltbetrieb Bremen (member), Budget and Finance Committee (city) (member) and the Auditing Committee (city) (member).

During the 19th electoral term at the end of February 2016, she resigned from her position as a university lecturer. Since then, the spokeswoman for the regional climate and energy working group and a delegate from her regional association to the federal energy working group.
