Anne of the Heiden

Anne von der Heiden (* 1968 ) is a German media and art scholar.

Life

Anne von der Heiden was with the work The negative economy of salvation. 'Jud Süß' and the media is doing her doctorate in media studies at the Ruhr University Bochum . She was Slavoj Žižek's research assistant at the Cultural Studies Institute of the NRW Science Center, Fellow in Residence at the Friedrich Nietzsche College of the Weimar Classic Foundation, post-doctoral fellow at the Graduate College "Image Body Medium" at the Institute for Art Research at the State University of Design Karlsruhe, Scientific director of the international research project "The Post-Communist Condition" at the Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe and head of the research group "Writing life. Media technology and the sciences of life 1800-1900" at the Bauhaus University Weimar and lecturer at the Institute for Media Studies (ifm) from the University of Basel. In 2002 she was a Fellow of the Friedrich Nietzsche College on the subject of “The Passion of the Real. Building blocks for a philosophical diagnosis of the present «.

In 2008 von der Heiden was the scientific coordinator of the Pro * Doc "Art & Science" graduate program at the University of Zurich and in the 2008/2009 winter semester she represented the professorship for cultural and media studies at the Art Academy for Media in Cologne. Von der Heiden has been Professor of Art and Media Studies at Munich University of Applied Sciences since the 2009 summer semester. Since the winter semester 2010 she has been professor for art history and art theory at the Art University Linz .
