Annemarie Färber
Anne Marie Dyer (* the thirtieth October 1943 as Annemarie Bendig ) is a former German badminton player .
Career
She learned to play with the shuttlecock in her hometown of Kyritz . She also won her first medal for her hometown club Einheit Kyritz - the bronze medal in the GDR best determination of the juniors in 1960. At the beginning of the 1961/62 season she switched to Motor IFA Karl-Marx-Stadt, where she also won the junior team championship to win. Two bronze medals in women's singles and women's doubles followed at the junior individual championships of the same year. In 1964, now married as Annemarie Richter , she won her first silver medal in the adult category in mixed with Joachim Schimpke . The team from Karl-Marx-Stadt won the bronze medal in the GDR league this season . In 1965 there were two more silver medals in women's singles and with the team, as well as a bronze medal in women's doubles. A year later, with two third places, starting for Dynamo Freiberg, the yield was a bit sparse. In 1969 she had a really big hit: She was able to become GDR champion in the women's singles for the first time, this time starting for the BSG Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt . Two further titles in women's doubles followed in 1972 and 1973 (the latter for progress Tröbitz ). After moving to Frankfurt (Oder) for professional reasons and winning the bronze medal in women's doubles in 1974, Annemarie Richter was quiet in the sporting field. She later married her former teammate from Progress Tröbitz , Klaus-Peter Färber .
Both still live in Frankfurt (Oder) today .
