Klaus-Peter Färber (born February 7, 1947 in Tröbitz ) is a former German badminton player .

Career

After winning the GDR youth team cup in 1963 and the junior championship title in men's doubles together with Jürgen Bommel in 1965 , he moved to the first team of the six-time champion activist Tröbitz . With the team he won another five titles in a row until 1971 . Three more silver medals with the team followed by 1974 . For professional reasons, he moved together with Annemarie Richter after point game season 1973 / 1974 to Frankfurt (Oder) . In addition to Annemarie Richter , he also took his good form with him to his new association, the semiconductor plant in Frankfurt (Oder): Together they won the bronze medal in mixed at the GDR individual championships in 1974 . Annemarie Richter and Klaus-Peter Färber later married , but it became very quiet around them in terms of sport.

Both still live in Frankfurt (Oder) today .
