Erich Wilde (born January 25, 1943 in Kirchhain ) is a former German badminton player .

Career

He learned to play with the shuttlecock in his hometown at Traktor Doberlug-Kirchhain. For this club he also won his first national medals. In 1960, for example, he won the GDR best determination of the juniors in men's doubles with his club colleague Uwe Schicktanz. In the individual, he took second place behind Frank Fache (activist Zipsendorf ) at the same event in Karl-Marx-Stadt . In the following season he won silver in the GDR junior championships in mixed doubles with Hildegund Rehklau (also tractor Doberlug-Kirchhain). The excellent youth development program of the Doberman Luger Association under the direction of Herbert Tzschirich reflected in the season 1960 / 1961 especially in winning the East German junior team championship resist on which Erich Wilde played a decisive role.

However, Erich Wilde only celebrated his greatest successes after moving to the neighboring activist Tröbitz club . From 1962 to 1971 he won the GDR team championship ten times with activist, five times the title in men's doubles with Gottfried Seemann and once the mixed title with Rita Gerschner .

Dr.-Ing. Erich Wilde still lives in Doberlug-Kirchhain today .
