Annemieke Marileen Bes (born March 16, 1978 in Groningen ) is a former Dutch sailor .
successes
Annemieke Bes took part in three Olympic Games . In 2004 she just missed a medal win in the boat class Yngling as fourth. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 she was together with Merel Witteveen on the crew of helmsman Mandy Mulder in the Yngling and won the silver medal with them when she finished second thanks to 31 points behind the British and ahead of the Greeks. After the games, she switched to the Elliott 6m boat class and competed in this at the 2012 Games in London . After a loss in the match race against Australia, the Dutch boat was eliminated in the quarterfinals . In 2008 Bes was runner-up in Yngling, and in 2011 she won bronze at Elliott.
