Anne altar or "family altar" (St. Michael, Schwäbisch Hall).

The Anne altar (also known as the family altar) in the Protestant parish church of St. Michael in Schwäbisch Hall is a late Gothic carved altar.

The altar from 1509 is located on the altar of the central choir chapel . In the shrine there is a carved group of figures of St. The clan can be seen in high relief, which comes from the workshop of Hans Beuscher .

In the center are the figures of mother Anna (right) and daughter Maria (left). Maria hands the child to her mother (missing). The Virgin Mary wears her hair loose, while her mother Anna wears a headscarf and giver . The two are flanked by Anna's other two daughters, Maria Cleophas on the right and Maria Salome on the left. Behind the four female figures are their husbands Zebedee , Josef , Joachim , Cleophas and Alphaeus .

The left wing showed the hermit Paul ; this plate has been missing since 1907. On the right wing is St. Antony depicted. The predella shows the handkerchief of Veronica with the face of Jesus.
