Annette Haug
Annette Haug (* 1977 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German classical archaeologist .
Annette Haug graduated from Hohenlohe-Gymnasium Öhringen in 1996 . From 1996 to 2000 she studied classical archeology, art history and prehistory and early history at the University of Heidelberg . She spent 1998/1999 on an Erasmus grant in Paris. In 2000 she did a research stay at King's College Cambridge . From 2000 to 2003, he did a Franco-German doctorate at the Universities of Heidelberg and Paris-Sorbonne with a thesis on the subject of the city as living space , supervised by Tonio Hölscher and François Baratte . A cultural-historical analysis of late antique city life in northern Italy . In 2003/04 she carried out research on a postdoctoral fellowship at the Rome Department of the German Archaeological Institute . In 2004/05 she received a travel grant from the German Archaeological Institute .
From 2005 to 2010 she was a research assistant at the Institute for Classical Archeology at the University of Leipzig , interrupted from 2007 to 2008 for a Feodor Lynen fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation . In 2009 he completed his habilitation at the University of Leipzig with the work body images as a cultural self-description. Body conceptions in Athens in the 8th and 7th centuries BC Chr. In the 2010 summer semester she was a substitute professor at the Institute for Classical Archeology at the University of Leipzig. In 2010 she completed her habilitation at the University of Munich , where she did research with a Heisenberg grant . Haug has been teaching at the University of Kiel since the 2012/13 winter semester as W3 professor for Classical Archeology and at the same time director of the Collection of Antiquities . In 2013 she was offered a W3 professorship for Classical Archeology at the University of Heidelberg as the successor to Tonio Hölscher. An appointment did not come about. She has been a full member of the Academy of Sciences in Hamburg since 2017 . Haug was awarded the Science Prize of the City of Kiel in 2019 .
