Annette Kruisbrink

Annette Kruisbrink (born February 15, 1958 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch guitarist and composer .

Life

Annette Kruisbrink studied guitar and composition, among others with Pieter van der Staak at the Conservatory in Zwolle . She has received numerous prizes and awards, especially for her compositional work.

Kruisbrink teaches guitar, first at the conservatory in Zwolle and then, together with her duo partner Arlette Ruelens, at the private Gitaarschool Anido . She also performs solo, as the Anido Duo (with Ruelens), as the Duo Kruisbrink & Van Essen (with the soprano Franka van Essen), as the Trio Trobairitz (with the guitarists Arlette Ruelens and Maria Vittoria Jedlowski) and together with her brother, the Double bass player Eric Kruisbrink. She also gives master classes and is a member of numerous competition juries.

Kruisbrink wrote more than 300 compositions, especially for guitar alone or for guitar with orchestra , choir and / or other instruments. She also writes for lute, mandolin, piano and choir.

Numerous compositions, especially for guitar, are available as sound recordings, many of which were recorded by Kruisbrink himself.
