Annette Lehmann (politician)

Annette Lehmann (born December 3, 1964 in Mühlhausen / Thuringia ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been a member of the Thuringian state parliament since 1999 .

Professional background

After graduating from high school in 1983, Lehmann completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk and then worked as an employee at the Kreissparkasse Mühlhausen until 1990. In 1988 she joined the GDR CDU . From 1990 she worked in the tax office in Mühlhausen, initially as an employee, then from 1994 as a civil servant in the higher service.

Political activity

Lehmann has been a member of the district assembly of Mühlhausen since 1990 and of the Unstrut-Hainich district from 1994 and chairwoman of this district assembly from 1997 to 2004. From 2004 to 2009 she was parliamentary group leader of the CDU.

In 1999 she entered the Thuringian state parliament for the first time as a successor for Birgit Diezel , who left the state parliament because of her appointment as state secretary. In the state elections in 2004 , 2009 and 2014 she won the direct mandate in the constituency Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis II . She did not run again for the 2019 state election.In addition, Lehmann was also a member of the Dünwald municipal council for several legislative periods from 1990 to 2012 .
