Anni Steuer , married Ludewig (born February 12, 1913 in Maiziers, today Metz , Lorraine , † after 1995), was a German athlete and Olympic medalist who was one of the world's best 80-meter hurdlers in the mid-1930s .

Career

At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , she won the silver medal in 11.7 seconds behind the Italian Trebisonda Valla (gold) and ahead of the Canadian Elizabeth Taylor (bronze). Four runners achieved the same time; the order had to be determined by the target photo . Tax started for TuS Duisburg 48/99 . With a height of 1.77 m, she had a competition weight of 67 kg. In 1959 she moved to Mülheim an der Ruhr .
