Annie Raines (born July 3, 1969 , near Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American harmonica player. She also plays the keyboard and sings.

She started playing the harmonica at the age of 17 . Fascinated by the grandmasters of Chicago blues like Muddy Waters , she started busking and playing in local Boston clubs. She then went to Chicago, where she performed with blues greats like Pinetop Perkins and James Cotton . At the age of 22 she met Paul Rishell , who introduced her to the country blues.
