The Berndorf residence (also Egen-Hof or Hepperger residence ) in the Gries district of Bolzano was built around 1600 as a residence in the area of ​​an older farm . The group of buildings encloses an inner courtyard and is located on the mountain side behind the old parish church of Gries on the road connection to Glaning . The coat of arms of the Counts of Selva is on a flight of stairs . Bay windows were added to the building in the 18th century . The manor has been owned by the von Hepperger family since the 19th century.

An old slab path (Ochsenweg) starts from Berndorf and leads over the Guntschnaberg to Glaning .
