Antanas Šipavičius

Antanas Šipavičius (born June 16, 1964 in Telšiai ) is a Lithuanian customs officer, head of the Lithuanian customs office .

Life

After graduating from high school, he graduated from 1982 to 1987 with a degree in mechanics at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija and from 2004 to 2006 the master’s degree in administration at the Kauno technologijos universitetas in Kaunas . He continued his education in Stockholm (Sweden), Taipei (Taiwan), Charleston (USA), Münster , Bramschill (UK), Hoofddorp (Netherlands). From 1987 to 1988 he worked in the kolkhoz in Linkaičiai near Joniškis , from 1989 to 1991 in Kretinga as a car mechanic. From 1991 he worked in the Klaipėda Customs Office , from 2004 to 2009 as the head of the port city's customs office. Since 2010 he has been General Director of Customs Department at the Ministry of Finance (Lithuania) .

He is married. He has two children with his wife Janina.
