Anthony J. Bowen
Anthony J. Bowen (* before 1993) is a British Graecist .
Bowen is Emeritus Fellow in Classics at Jesus College Cambridge and, following James Diggle, was a University Orator at the University of Cambridge from 1993 to 2007 , who is responsible for writing honorary doctorate certificates and other official texts in Latin. The MA and Ph.D. he had acquired at Cambridge.
Bowen works on Greek tragedy , especially Aeschylus . He has also edited and commented on Plutarch's book On the Malice of Herodotus and Xenophons Symposium and translated the Institutiones divinae des Laktanz with Peter Garnsey .
