Anthony Le Tallec (born October 3, 1984 in Hennebont , Morbihan ) is a French football player who plays in the attacking midfield .

Career

Club career

The professional career of the Breton began in 2002 at Club Le Havre AC . In 2003 he moved to the English Premier League for Liverpool , from where he was awarded to AS Saint-Étienne in 2004 and then returned to the second half of the 2004/05 season. In July 2005 he was loaned out again, this time to Sunderland . He played there for a year, then came back to Liverpool in 2006. In August 2006, the French first division club FC Sochaux loaned the midfielder and secured his services until the summer of 2007. He was then loaned to UC Le Mans , which then took him under contract for the 2008/09 season. For the 2010/11 season he moved to AJ Auxerre . From 2012 to 2015 he played for the French first division club Valenciennes FC . Further stations in Greece and Romania followed . Since January 2018 he has been playing for US Orléans in Ligue 2 .

National team

Le Tallec played 34 times for the French U-21 national team and scored twelve goals.
