Anthony Radziwill

Anthony Radziwill , born Antoni Stanisław Albrecht Radziwiłł (born August 4, 1959 in Lausanne , † August 10, 1999 in New York City ) was an American filmmaker.

Originally his first name was Antoni, which his parents later changed to Anthony. Radziwill was born three months prematurely and was the only son of Prince Stanisław Albrecht Radziwiłł (born July 21, 1914 in Szpanów , Poland ; † July 27, 1976 in London ) of the Radziwiłł family and the American Lee Radziwill (* 1933 as Caroline Lee Bouvier; † 2019), who was the sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis . The two married on May 19, 1959.

He had a younger sister, Anna Christina Radziwill (born August 18, 1960 in New York City ) and an older half-brother Jan Stanisław Albrycht Radziwiłł (born August 8, 1947). The latter was a son from his father's second marriage to Grace Kolin.

In 1974 Radziwill's parents divorced.

In 1982 he graduated from Boston University and received a bachelor's degree in television journalism. His career began at NBC Sports as a film producer.

Radziwill became the stepson of Herbert Ross , whom his mother married in 1988.

From 1989 he worked for ABC News as a producer for Prime Time Live. At that time he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had to be sterilized.

In 1990 Radziwill received the Peabody Award for research on the return of National Socialism in the USA .

He married a former American Broadcasting Company employee , Carole Di Falco, on August 27, 1994 on Long Island .

He was the best man when his cousin John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette were married on September 21, 1996.

Radziwill died on August 10, 1999 in New York after a long period of cancer.
