Antirrhinum Grosii a plant is art from the genus of snapdragons ( Antirrhinum ) in the family of plantain plants (Plantaginaceae).

description

Antirrhinum grosii is a dwarf shrub whose ascending stems reach lengths of 12 to 40 cm. The plant is hairy glandular and downy. The leaves, which are opposite at the bottom and alternate at the top, are 20 to 30 mm long and 12 to 22 mm wide, ovate and blunt. The leaf stalks are 2 to 3 mm long.

The lower bracts resemble the foliage leaves, the upper ones are smaller and narrower. The flower stalks are 3 to 6 mm long and shorter than the bracts. The calyx lobes are about 7 mm long, ovate-lanceolate and pointed. The crown is 30 to 35 mm long and colored pale yellow.

The fruits are almost spherical, glandular-downy hairy capsules with a diameter of 9 to 10 mm.

Occurrence and locations

The species is widespread in western central Spain , in the Sierra de Gredos . It grows on rocks there in the mountains.
