Antje Middeldorf Kosegarten

Antje Middeldorf Kosegarten , née Antje Kosegarten , (born August 4, 1932 in Manhagen , Oldenburg in Holstein ) is a German art historian .

Life

Antje Kosegarten, daughter of a farmer, graduated from the Ernestinenschule in Lübeck in 1951 . Starting in the summer semester of 1952, she studied art history in Freiburg , Munich and Vienna . In 1960 she received her doctorate in Freiburg with Kurt Bauch . From 1963 to 1965 she was an assistant at the German Art History Institute in Florence . In 1979 she completed her habilitation at the TU Berlin . From 1985 until her retirement, she taught as a professor at the University of Göttingen .
