Antoine Tarabay
Antoine Tarabay OLM (born November 15, 1967 in Tannourine , Lebanon ) is a Maronite Bishop of the Eparchy of St. Marron of Sydney .
Life
Antoine Tarabay joined the religious community of the Lebanese Maronite Order and made perpetual vows on October 17, 1992 . Tarabay received on 11 July 1993, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 17, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of the Eparchy of St. Marron of Sydney. He was ordained bishop on May 25th of the same year by the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch , Béchara Pierre Cardinal Raï OMM . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Beirut , Paul Youssef Matar , and the Bishop of Batrun , Mounir Khairallah .
