Anton Archer († 1505 in Bern ) was a Bernese military leader and statesman .
Anton Archer was married to Margareta Fränkli, the daughter of the Bernese Seckelmeister Hans Fränkli . From 1455 he sat in the Bernese Grand Council, from 1462 he was a member of the Small Council, in 1465 first Landvogt von Bipp and 1473 Landvogt von Lenzburg , 1467 and 1474 Venner zu Pfistern and from 1477 to 1503 Seckelmeister. He was also banner captain on the Waldshut train in 1468, in the battle of Héricourt in 1474 and on the Vaudois train in 1475 .
Archer and his wife were members of the Bernese Rosary Brotherhood and donated the painting of the choir lettuce of the Dominican Church in Bern.
