Anton Graßl
Anton Graßl (born March 22, 1909 in Kaiserslautern ; † May 16, 1990 in Munich ) was a German ministerial official.
Career
Graßl received his doctorate in 1933 with a thesis on Bavarian national history. He was Ministerialrat in the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture . In 1946 he was co-founder of the Bavarian State Association for Youth Hikes and Youth Hostels and in 1949 became its chairman. In 1962 he was elected President of the International Youth Hostel Association.
He lived in Ainmillerstraße in Schwabing from 1963 until his death .

- 1974: Great Gold Medal of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria
